11:37 am	RU Weekend So I haven't been at Rutgers on a Saturday night in a long time. last night, me, greg and jesse decided to go up to Rutgers and stay overnight. I drove up at around 10pm after Jesse got done work. we made good time of course, and we went to my room to unpack a few things. Then i drove over to college ave cause we went to some frat party where greg's friends were. we all just hung out and eventually went back to their room over on douglass. we had some interesting conversations lol. around 5:30am, we decided to head back to busch and get some sleep. well...i forgot my ID, so there was nobody there to let us in the building. well after freezing outside, we ALMOST slept in my car lol. but we went to John's place instead and we crashed on his futon. it was a nice one-hour nap i must say. picked up greg this morning and went home. good times with good friends and meeting new people. heading back up today pepe in a few hours. 2:10 pm	Crazy Craziest thing happened to me today: I'm in the convenience store buying medicine and tissues and food for my sickly self...and while i'm in line...i'm listening to "Breathe" by Breaking Benjamin (off their new album)...the song gets done...so i take my headphones off...and i still hear the song...and i'm like wtf? 1:10 am	Sweet So yea, what an awesome weekend of band. i got home friday night and sat on my ass all night. saturday morning i got to rehearsal at 10:30 and started a quality drumline sectional for like 2 hours. teaching my boys some technique. once they get their individual technique up to par, the show will work itself out nicely. so i'm really excited for that. after rehearsal we sat around and ate, and then i drove over to the high school and warmed up the drumline, headed over with the pit, and then finally ensemble. they had a real kick-ass show and i was proud of them all. to see their faces like that when they marched off was great. so after the show, i hung out with amanda for the rest of the night like usual. some quality times. we watched some bands...listened to judges tapes with the others, and then hit the philly diner afterwards. poor waitress spilled hot tea when she brought it to our table lol. but we didn't care. so yea, after that, i went to home and slept. woke up early sunday, worked for 8 hours and had a good time swapping stories about the ladies with Joey G hahaha. gotta love it. it was a long day...and then finally i ended up here in my room. joyous occassion. tomorrow should be nice. hitting the gym early in the morning for my chest/shoulders/back workout for a good 2 hours. then studying for my physics quiz...going to class, and then waiting for jay to get me and take me down to c-wood for rehearsal. and then it's out with amanda somewhere until jay is ready to head on back up. looks to be a great day ;) Current Mood: happy Current Music: Mudvayne - "Death Blooms" (Comment on this)

1:45 am	Goals I have several long-term goals to accomplish by the end of this summer: ~ Get jacked (build muscle and get my weight up) ~ Get a job and make some money ~ Read a couple of books this summer ~ Teach myself as much of Calc III, Linear Algebra, Organic Chem and Physics (E&M) as i can before the semester starts ~ Have a good time with people and see Sara as much as i can before she moves :( :( :( Phillies are rockin'...one game behind the Mets. hard to believe that we went from 1-6 or something like that, all the way to 22-15...winning 13 games out of the last 14 (damn Mets had to spank us that one game). 2:28 pm	Merry Christmas :) Merry Christmas everyone :) Well it started out with the usual tradition. wake up at 7, get the parents up and wait at the top of the steps so everyone downstairs can do their thing. well went downstairs and yay santa came! and here is what he brought: ~ Laptop (Hewlett Packard...i'm using it now!) ~ Dodgeball ~ Eurotrip ~ The Girl Next Door (Unrated) ~ Drumline ~ Billy Madison/Happy Gilmore ~ Boy Meets World DVD Season's 1 and 2 ~ AE pinstriped button-down shirt ~ Eddie Bauer Shirt ~ Other Shirt ~ Reversible Leather Belt ~ Sports Illustrated Day-by-Day Calendar and i think that's about it. it was definitely a good christmas. my mom got the BMW DVD's at best buy! last two haha. that's so awesome. i got my brother a carmen electra poster and the "sexiest women on reality TV" calendar, both for his dorm cause he got on campus housing at UMD this spring semester, yay! i got my sister an aero hoodie. 2 for $30 so i kept one, she doesn't need two haha. i'm bad. got my mom one of those pillows that are the micro-bean kinds or something. and i went into that east meets west store in the mall and i saw a KISS doll, as in the rock group, and you hold the button and it plays the song and he strums his guitar and i thought my dad would like it. so funny. but even better than all that is that my nana got to spend this christmas with us so it was really nice. funny quote from my aunt: (talking about red baron pizza) if i even sniff one of those things i gain 5 pounds. 11:50 pm	1-2-3-4...... So things are cool now, excellent. tomorrow is our last day of school before break, woohoo! today was ok, i don't remember much except i failed 3 physics quizzes, alright, go me. best part ever, is that i wore my chem teacher's lab coat the other day during the fire drill cause it was cold, and she was like "i should get these for everyone"...well she scrounged up 12 lab coats and gave them to us today!! how awesome is that!? i thought it was neat lol, i'm earing it now. so we need to coordinate voice things in the battery. like counting and dutting and/or grunting and saying cool stuff. dave toran said we should say something jewish, cause well, he's jewish!! too funny. but it's just very helpful and organized. so we'll see. christmas in a few days, wow. i'll update later maybe, i'm bored to think. oh yea, everyone should go to www.jwpepper.com and type in "Carol In Winter" and listen to the clip of that chorus singing it. our chamber choir sang it last night at the concert, so awesome...PEACE OUT Current Mood: calm Current Music: "Carol In Winter" - M. 10:06 pm	Excitement Ensues i can't wait till the january camp...an actual snare line...we need to get snare shorts, and make a saying or something, kind of like "slut betta have my money" for the bass line last year. and we need hats. woo i'm excited. i've got this music down pretty well now. today was possibly the shittiest day of the year. 1 - Theory...dumb...got an 89 on my assignment cause i wasn't here when he said no non-chord tones on beats 1 and 3...and i put mine on 3. and -2 on my cadence!? hello it was a great resolution. and i didn't do my hw cause i didn't feel like it. 2 - Band...kind of chilly still...beyer talked about the alarms now set on all 4 exit doors...i'll miss going through those doors, they were a good time. 3 - English...74 on my test...i guess i just suck...dammit i just realized i have to read grendel tonight. 4 - Calc...93 on my quiz, stupid mistakes...learned about extrema today 5 - Physics...i...hate...that...class...we had a quiz today on friction and tension, he makes it sound really easy, and then he changes shit on the quiz. i serious drew a picture for the first 2 problems and attempted the 3rd one and just said screw this, i don't really care anymore. 6 - Lunch...i was still pissed about physics so i was quiet 7 - Chem 8A - Chem 8B - Chem 2 and a half hours of chem and we didn't even go to the assembly. stupid people in my class. seriously, they get off topic every day when i wanna learn, and the second i wanna talk to ms. lummis or springstead about something they're like "um, can you be quiet i'm trying to do my work"...hur hur, screw you. oh well. physics test thursday, yay! well i'm done for now, PEACE OUT Current Mood: blah Current Music: Christmas CD (Comment on this)

11:45 pm	Here Goes! So...i got to the vokie around 6:30ish and the swim team and basketball and cheerleading people were there...wow...cheryl and i chilled for a bit and then chilled with haley too. i didn't talk to her that much last season, it's cool to make new friends. talked to more and more people. we unloaded the truck and started warming up. that was fun as usual, lol. not as many people here this time. lindsey was somewhere other than there, so that's weird. we got done practice at 11ish after everything. chilled with laura and melody most of the time. met some new people which was neat. and time for lights out!!!! my favorite part of the day!!! ahahahaha.....last year me and trev did the farting thing with our asses in the air, so immature but so great. well me and dave toran were doing it. and will turned and just farted right in dave's face, funniest thing this season lol. lights out is a great time. woke up saturday and ate some peaches and cream oatmeal, mmmmm. and we basics woohoo!! we did basics forever, ate lunch, and did some more basics. marcel is the man. last camp we were like "riiiiight". but he was so funny, very praising at times, and all at the same time, kicked our asses hard. i loved it. we warmed up and did sectionals until dinner, had a meeting with bob, did more sectionals and then finally ensembled at night. after that i met john, he went to souderton, and the guy who's now in PSU Indoor who knows steph haha. he was in norristown last year!! he had the cornrows hahaha. what a small world that you can see someone, and then they're next to you in the line. well he's auditioning on tenors. he's really cool. i'm so proud of melody!! all day i was wondering who he looked like, and melody was like "greg, he looks like the guy from the SCV snare line" and i was like "YES!!!! WALTER TURNER!!!" haha right on as zach would say. so marielle called me saturday night, and i was going to call her back but zach asked for my battery out of my phone lol, so i gave it up. um...after that it was lights out. slept in the circle again. did some more farter, and will farted in dave's face AGAIN!! wow...i just farted too...crazy, i'm sorry for anyone who's reading this, but everyone has their very immature moments. telly through a mallet in my ass and someone chucked a peppermint candy at me lol. but yea, then i went to sleep. woke up today and couldn't get out of my bag. meghan came over to wake will up, but i finally got up and got my stuff together. ate some breakfast, and did some visual. this visual was really fun, it wasn't like boring at all. we did stuff line by line and observed each other, did figure 8, and even got to marching and playing!! measure of triplets and measure of drags and direction change for the figure 8, really cool. i should be in good shape to go on the field, cause i think i did well. and then we did an elimination thing. i survived the whole time, woohoo!!! go me, but anyway, then we had sectionals. our new exercise is called inertia. it's all 16th notes with a repeating accent pattern and with different "endings", and it's so easy to just get lost, and i always did on my pad, and i didn't wanna do it on the drum, but zach was like "alright, inertia" and i played it just fine. and i realized that i didn't place space cowboy at ALL on a drum this weekend lol. well we ate lunch, warmed up and went to the show and tell, yay! the guard had a really cool show and tell. it involved chairs, and uh...very "involved" dancing lol. but it was fun to watch. then the pit played, and then percussion, then brass, and finally we ensemble all of barber. i have everything memorized. just that snare part is a little weird. we have backsticking and stick flips at the same time, how hot is that? i love mr. tanzos's writing. oh yea, my audition!! i walked into the bass room and zach and bob were there. it was chill and i played 4 rudiments and table of time and i thought i did relatively well, i was pretty happy with it. and...that was it! so i got my battery back from zach at the end of the camp. but first he asked me to come with him, and he opened the door next to the staff room where no one was and it felt like last year when john reilly pulled me out and told me i needed another year. i got so nervous, and then he closed the door and without hesitation said "you're in". and i just couldn't stop smiling after that lol. the most exciting feeling. they're playing 2001 on TV...good times lol so 2 others made the snare line, good players too. me and shareef (sp?) like each other's drum pads, we're getting along well, cool guy. and the other i don't even think i talked to at all lol. so laura took me home, and i chilled. went to alex's tonight for her christmas family/friend get together thing which is always fun. jordan took more pictures and i talked to jen who i haven't seen in a while. cindy and lauren lew were there. becca, danielle and alex obviously lol. rosanne, doreen, vikki, eric, diane and others. it was fun. then it started snowing!! yay for black ice lol. so that's about it. a crazy, ass-kicking fun weekend. i'm so glad i finally achieved my goal with making snare. i might make a list of funny things from the weekend. until next time, PEACE OUT Current Mood: ecstatic Current Music: TV (1 Comment |Comment on this)

11:54 pm	I'm a loser...in the past hour i learned the blue devils stick toss solo thing from their show this year. i mean i know everything they do, it's not like i can play it at the same level as them, but i can "play" it lol. i feel accomplished. oh yea, we won in volleyball...i can't believe we lost 2 games though, one of which i had lab for. we're 10-2 (first place baby)...this may be the only time in like gym history that i have won a tournament lol. 8:54 pm	Not Quite went to my guidance appointment today with digennaro. he filled some stuff out and faxed my transcripts and whatnot. he's sending my letters tomorrow, cause he's going to write one tomorrow for me, what a guy lol. i finally found out my rank and GPA. 108 out of 733 GPA: 95.1545 um, not bad, it's a solid A and better than i thought. but that doesn't explain why i didn't get a form for a gold card (not like i'd use it anyway). i have an A, no detentions/suspensions, and attendance is like perfect just about. wtf...whatever. so tomorrow after homeroom, i shall wait patiently for three months. my mom is watching the christmas thingy for "queer eye", how interesting. surf this weekend, i'm kind of nervous. i don't know why. gotta do more homework, PEACE OUT Current Mood: hopeful Current Music: Queer Eye (1 Comment |Comment on this)

2:54 pm	Whew i went to homeroom and found my guidance pass today, but the appointment was for TOMORROW!! well the deadline for UDel's Honors Program is today. well i don't know if i'd ever get in, but i thought it couldn't hurt. maybe they would think of it as ambitious and increase my chances of normal acceptance i don't know. but then i was like "crap, the deadline is today, it'll be too late, and they won't accept me at all cause they'll know i'm a procrastinator"...of course that's the way i always think. i went to digennaro today after school and he called UD and they said as long as i completed the application online, i'm still eligible although my transcript and letters are going out tomorrow. so that's a big relief for me. tomorrow starts day 1 of waiting. so physics was the best time today. my lab group didn't have a calculator, so we split up into other teams, and then it was me, rich, dan, kelly and ally. and we were chilling having a good time. then our calculator spazzed out and napolsky couldn't get it to work so seriously, for a full hour we just walked aroun talking, playing with ally's video camera for school. it was awesome. allison would tape someone so in the background you could see napolsky lol, we got a kick out of that, how mature. and they were saying something and i heard someone say "greg will do it!" so i was like "what?" and they wanted me to record napolsky's ass. so i was like oh what the hell, it was too fun of a period to not do it and top it off. so i took the video camera and just zoomed in on his ass and then they played it. the laughter could not be contained...soooo funny, had to be there. after i got that out of my system, i went to chem, yay! i think we need to have a physics party, just the people, no work. just go over someone's house. me, kelly, ally, allison, rich, murphy and eddie rafter haha. that would be a good time. alright, gotta find something to eat...PEACE OUT Current Mood: relieved Current Music: Scilence!
